15th Street Dinah

"The world is a showplace, we all know that for a fact."

Tune into WVUA 90.7 tonight for…ME!

That’s right.  It’s been a long time since I was on the air at WVUA, but I will be an in-studio guest TONIGHT from 8-10 on the station’s local music show.  I’ll be talking about the blog, Hackberry Records and whatever else the guys wanna bring up.  This will certainly be an interesting two hours, so be sure and tune in to 90.7 FM in the Tuscaloosa area.

Everywhere else, you can access a live stream by clicking here.

Most folks that know me know I’ve been a harsh critic of WVUA in the past year, but their move to establish a dedicated local show is a step in the right direction, so I’m going on to show my support.  These kind of things require listeners, so if you feel strongly about this kind of thing, tune in and make it a habit.

The Motions Streaming Live from Tuscaloosa!

Starting at midnight, The Motions will broadcast live from The Depot.  Check it out.  It might be streaming a lot earlier, but don’t expect music til 12 at the earliest!  I’m not operating this either, so if it doesn’t work, or there’s extreme tomfoolery happening on the stream, don’t blame me.

About Us

15th Street Dinah is a blog primarily about music coming to and coming from the Tuscaloosa, AL area. From time to time, we might veer off course...but for the most part, that's our thing.

We're named in honor of the great Dinah Washington, Tuscaloosa native and "Queen of the Blues".
